Rapid Tests

Helident is a rapid urease test (RUT) that detects the presence of Helicobacter pylori in gastric biopsy specimens. The color of the product changes from yellow to blue/purple if H. pylori is present in the biopsy sample tested. This product is in classic gel format.

Helident DRY is a rapid urease test (RUT) that detects the presence of Helicobacter pylori in gastric biopsy specimens. If H. pylori is present in the biopsy specimen tested, the color of the product changes from yellow to red/pink. There is also a yellow region that remains constant in color to better observe the slight color changes caused by weakly positive samples.

Because this product is designed in dry format, it has some notable advantages over urease tests in gel or liquid format:

- The color change is more pronounced,

- Long shelf life,

- Store at room temperature.
